1st September Hero Boy has started a couple of new LSN Skirmish tournaments - old school style! LSN Original players should restrict themselves to deploying Machina or Marines. LSN Old Style players should avoid deploying Greys. TAS can't enforce the race choice so be careful to avoid forfeit.

19th January Sign up for The City of Dusk, an ambitious new campaign, hand moderated by Jaques Cartier.

6th January JohnShields has made another analysis, this time of the effectiveness of shots at targets moving across the line of fire.

5th January Divisions have been announced and the fixtures set for KILL COM season 3. Home players should send challenges on a map of their choice and post the map on the killcom forum (remember: 20 FP 30 TURNS 15 DAYS 1 COMMANDER).

4th January Season Four of the Specialist League starts on 15th January, and recruitment is underway at their forum.

2nd January With season one of the Ryder Cup complete, Redeem is canvassing opinions for season two.

23rd December Two new mini tournaments (Room with a View and School of Rock) played on two new maps (Hotel and Schools Out).

22nd December The first game on the Mastering LSN trial site was recently made available. Its a matchup between Jaques Cartier and Boomstick, with BA Nimzomitch commentating.

21st December Codo minor update: trying to sort out a Paypal system. Map moderator tools and the new Field Instructor/bounty system near completion but on hold for a short while. All players should also have received a Newsflash email.

10th December Fixtures are up on the LSN World Cup 2006 site. Challenges can now be be made and the tournament is officially underway.

7th December All players now have personal map space, where they can upload up to five maps.

4th December Robmonster has rewritten the LSN Web Interface Fixer so that it is compatible with the latest version of Greasemonkey, and added extra fixes. A must have for Firefox users.

1st December All players should have received a subscription extension. The new, reduced prices are in effect for subscriptions and resubscriptions.

22nd November All subscribers should have received an email from Codo with details of new mini tournaments; map administrator system; and a confirmation of the price reductions.

18th November Sign up for LSN World Cup 2006. 32 players will be allocated a country based on their ranking as of December 2nd (week before official draw) when the draw takes place for the World Cup (proper).

17th November  A new and exciting belt to compete in: Immortal Combat The belt holder will always play with the same squad of Chosen Men from match to match; their reputation and glory comes at a price though, as many will study them and seek to bring them down to assume the position of Immortals.

3rd November Codo are "seriously considering" a price reduction. One month subscription plus the single player missions would drop to $9.95; other subs and resubs also reduced.

23rd October Fletch has announced a general function release for the Tournament Administration System. Five PHP functions to help other tournament organisers deal with XML parsing.

10th October Will you be King of the Castle? A pyramid based tournament, where the object is to get to the top of the pyramid by winning LSN games. The first automated campaign using the wonderful Tournament Administration System.

7th October Join the Marine HQ League. "Hopefully the Marine HQ league will be a commitment free one, being that if you wanted to challenge a player for a game you are only commited to that one game. Its up to you how far you want to go. No queing for ages to get a go, just post a challenge and hopefully a short wait will get you playing for that special HQ badge!"
